ALISI

iOS and Android · in beta

Breathe. Adapt. Perform.

Guided breath training for performance, recovery, focus and sleep. Two minutes before a session, ten minutes after a hard one, or a full set of retention rounds — plus the techniques that actually help at 2am when your mind will not switch off.

Perform

Prime your breathing before you train, and hold a cadence when the effort climbs. Sessions built for the ten minutes before it matters, not for a meditation cushion.

Recover

Come down after training, after work, or after a day that got away from you. Long exhales, no holds, nothing to learn.

Adapt

Progressive rounds and breath holds that get harder as you get better — with the safety screening that this kind of training actually requires.

Try it without downloading anything

This runs the exact same breathing engine as the app. Six breaths, right here — or pick a different pattern from the free timers.

Ready

Six breaths. Press start.

Six ways in

You do not browse a content library. You pick what you need and it starts.

Where the name comes from

ALISI takes its name from the alisios — the Atlantic trade winds that shape the Canary Islands. Constant, powerful, adaptive. A reminder that repeated forces build stronger systems.

Who builds this

ALISI is built by Eduardo Diaz Sancha, an engineering leader and certified running coach in Atlanta, and is used with the athletes he coaches at Salitre Coaching. One person, no growth team, and every safety decision in the app is his to answer for.

The part other apps leave out

Breathing fast and then holding your breath lowers the carbon dioxide in your blood. Carbon dioxide is what triggers the urge to breathe — so the hold feels easy while your oxygen keeps falling. That is why people black out doing this, sometimes with no warning, and why it has killed swimmers who tried it in water.

ALISI screens you once for the conditions that make retention unsafe, confirms where you are before every retention session, and tells you plainly which sensations are normal and which mean stop. All of it is included, for everyone.
